In any case the Insert > Shapes command that Charles Stuart mentioned, in Word 2016 you should have a Depict tab on the ribbon:

Wrong. If you in reality attend and see I am referring to the online 365 edition to which there are no options low sneak in for shapes or other than drawing. Using your logic Then please explain the rational for having the tools happening the desktop version and also on the 365 version(Online) for excel. The drawing sport is not to make portraits ,landscapes or works of fine art ( though you can make uncomplete ones with the full variation on the desktop) the tools are used in order to enhance visual communication, table and charts, etc in the text file itself. Information technology also allows great flexibility in content layout.

I moldiness not be making myself clear I am referring to the ONLINE variant of office (365) Not the full package downloaded to the computer there is no option for inserting shapes or drawing. ie WORDONLINE

Thanks (Micosoft 365 is the Online version) .... is what I figured... it just doesn't make any logical sense, in Excel online version the drawing tools are added just Eastern Samoa they are on the desktop. The issue is that since the primary system we use are OSX, it becomes hard when Microsoft no longer has a full office suit for Mac's for the current version of office so, we are relegated on those machines to run 365 which is only online version.
